Most of our garments are made to order. This means that we have our fabrics on stock, however we work with local seamstresses and factories in the Netherlands to produce each piece once an order is placed. A single garment can take anywhere from a few hours to 2 days to cut and sew.
We also need to be mindful of the capacity of the people who make our garments. Most of the time we are able to schedule the production of a piece within a 2 week time frame, however occasionally it will take longer. We will send you an update when your item is ready to be shipped and include the estimated delivery date.

We ship to most countries world-wide.
We ship all of our products from our atelier located in The Hague in The Netherlands.
For orders shipped to the countries listed below, orders are shipped on a Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) basis, meaning all taxes and duties are included in the final price. You will not owe any additional amount upon final delivery.

For deliveries to other countries (not listed above), orders are shipped on a Delivery Duty Unpaid (DDU) basis, meaning that all taxes and duties are excluded in the final price. Your order may therefore be subject to local taxes and import duties, which are levied by your local customs authority or the shipping carrier. We are unable to calculate the exact amount in duties and taxes your order might incur, as these charges are imposed directly by the destination country and vary between countries. Newspeak Studio does not cover any such taxes, duties or related charges. Taxes and duties incurred on refused or unclaimed packages are not covered by Newspeak Studio.
Once an item is produced and shipped, it can take anywhere between 2 and 10 business days on average for you to receive your order. You can check the Shipping section below for information regarding shipping times and rates for specific regions and countries.
If you change your mind about something, please contact us as soon as possible at info@newspeakstudio.com and we will try to help you out. Always refer to your order number when contacting us.
An order cannot be changed after it has been shipped.
We accept the following credit- and debit cards: Visa, Mastercard, American Express and JCB.If your device supports it, you may use accelerated checkout methods like Apple Pay or Google Pay.
Klarna Pay Later is available in some countries in the EU/EEA (Sweden, Denmark, Norway, France, Germany) and the United Kingdom.
You will receive your invoice by email with each purchase you place.
Once you have shipped the return back to us, it usually takes about 5-7 business days before the item is delivered to us, depending on the customs. We will process the return as quickly as possible after it has arrived. During busy periods (such as holidays), it may take longer time to process the returns.

If you receive anything damaged, please contact us at info@newspeakstudio.com as soon as possible. Place the item back in the box to avoid any added damages. Please always refer to your order number in your communication with us, along with photos of the damage and a description of the claim.
If the product is considered defective, Newspeak Studio will provide a replacement item or make a full refund including shipping costs, when the return of the claim is received.
All refunds will be made using the same payment method used at purchase. The refund amount will be deposited within your account within 14 working days of us receiving the package.
If you choose to withdraw your purchase, Newspeak Studio will issue a refund of the amount including the shipping cost only if the shipment has not been sent. If the item has already been shipped, we charge EUR 40 for return shipping.

Returns & exchanges
You are welcome to return any purchase within 30 days, no matter the reason. Returned goods should not have been used and needs to be returned in re-sellable condition with all original packaging intact. Your return item can either be exchanged for a new item, or you can get a refund for it.
All exchanges are free of charge for exchanges (i.e. when you swap for a new size, a different colour or style), meaning that both the return shipping and the shipping of any replacement item(s) is covered and provided by Newspeak Studio. If you would like to receive a different item, we will charge you or refund you the price difference, depending on the product you choose.
Keep in mind that most of our garments are made to order so the lead time for the production of a new piece is between 2 to 4 weeks on average.
In case you don’t want an exchange you can return any item(s) for a refund. For returns we deduct EUR 40 to cover return shipping.
- Please send us an email at info@newspeakstudio.com with your name, order number and a short description of why it will be returned (this will help us to improve our customer service in the future).
- In case you have ordered multiple items, let us know which item(s) you would like to return.
- Let us know if you desire an exchange (product / colour / size) or a refund.We will provide you with a FedEx return label and instructions. It is important to follow the instructions in order to get the full refund.
Size Guide
Disclaimer: Most of our garments are Made-to-order. Please make sure to check your size before ordering. We work with local seamstresses and factories to make the garments once an order is placed. On average it takes 2 to 4 weeks to manufacture a piece.
Please note that our clothing is meant to be worn oversized. Therefore the most important measurements for you to take into account are the arm length for tops and coats and the inseam and waist band measurement when it comes to pants. All our pants have a drawstring incorporated on the inside of the waistband which can be used to tighten the waist to fit you properly.
If you are unsure which size fits you best, feel free to reach out to us at info@newspeakstudio.com. We can send you the exact measurements of any garment and size and give you advise about your size.
Lastly, if you would like your pants shortened or lengthened, we are able to adjust them for you. However these items cannot be refunded. Please send us an email with your order details and let us know your measurements if you would like an item in your order to be modified.
